I finally found the perfect venue, but now I am having a hard time picking out colors. We will be getting married in a large log cabin at a state park with the reception at their convention center in January. I woul like to do earthy centerpieces to play up how beautiful the park is, and I will most likely use white flowers since it is winter. But I cant figure out what color to have the bridesmaids wear. I had considered green, but my sister (the MOH) absolutely cannot wear green because it always makes her look like she is about to get sick. The reception site also has a lot of green on the walls and in the carpet, and I am worried that I wont be able to match it and 2 different shades of green would clash. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Thanks!

What about a pretty mocha brown? Some shade of brown that is somewhat neutral should work with any green there is at the site and can look very pretty in satin sheens. It would work well with natural elements that have prominent brown branches or stems.

I would say that or maybe work in another flower color (especially in your boquet) to your theme and have the BMs wear that color, possibly keeping their flowers all white to balance out. Reds could be pretty to add to you theme, bringing a hint of warmth to your chill winter motif.

I agree with the brown...it'll look really nice with the decor of your venue and can be wintery

Ditto the brown! A nice chocolate color would be pretty!
